My main photography excursion outside of the usual haunts this spring was a visit to the Methow Valley, which is east of the North Cascades in North Central Washington. We spent a week during the latter part of May enjoying the splashes of color from tanagers, warblers, bluebirds, and buntings as well as numerous sightings of sapsuckers and woodpeckers. Meeting a rattlesnake added to the excitement.

Regular visits to Nine Mile Falls, WA and Discovery Park in Seattle also produced some nice images.

Enjoy,
Tom
